As much as I love to try new products, my skin can seriously suffer from changing things up. To be honest, I’m not always careful about checking ingredients.
My laziness is exactly why it’s nice to have a brand like AveSeena that excludes pretty much every single questionable ingredient: parabens, mineral oil, SLS, artificial dyes, etc. There’s nothing in their products to worry about for skin safety.
On top of AveSeena’s dedication to using safe ingredients, their products are incredibly luxurious. Worry-free skin pampering. Plus, they provide their complete ingredients lists on their site – they’re not hiding anything.

Did someone say “radiance”? For the most part, my number 1 skin concern is preventative anti-aging, but I’m always on the hunt for products to brighten my skin.
This serum has calming rose and aloe vera, illuminating Reishi mushroom, and niacinamide. There is also an interesting botanical humectant complex (Cassia Angustifolia Seed Polysaccharide) that is similar to hyaluronic acid to help skin retain moisture.
I love this serum because it’s hydrating, plus gives my skin a little extra glow. It has also made my skin more smooth (i.e. reduced texture). It’s the perfect AM serum!

I love a rich face cream at night to lock in moisture for my dry skin. Problem is, it’s hard to find a perfect balance between too light and too heavy. This cream is soothing and on the heavy side, but does not feel like it’s blocking my pores.
Plenty of oils (jojoba, rosehip, coconut, etc) pack on antioxidants and make this cream super hydrating without a heavy feeling. There’s also Coenzyme Q10 (reduces fine lines), calming aloe vera, and the same botanical humectant complex as the serum.
Another highlight of this cream is the packaging – it has a sanitary pump to dispense product. Huge win.
The high price tag definitely makes this cream a splurge, but it is one of my favorite night moisturizers. It is truly luxurious!

My love of a certain honey mask has been well-established, so I was very excited to try another mask with honey.
The first ingredient in this mask is honey, which is an antibacterial (good for acne) and full of antioxidants. There’s also white clay to detoxify skin and cacao for its anti-inflammatory properties, plus plenty of oils to moisturize skin.
This mask smells like chocolate and is very thick because it is completely waterless. I had some issues using it at first due to the thickness, but their team told me about 3 ways to use this mask:
-For deep detoxing, after warming between your fingers, slather a thick layer on your dry face and let it sit for 10 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water with gentle movements.
-For a lighter application, you can mix the mask in your hand with couple drops of water and then apply to dry face.
-For powerhouse application, add a drop or two (a pump full of) Essential Radiance Serum to the mask and mix it well. Apply to dry face and let it do its magic for 10-15 minutes. Wash with lukewarm water.
My favorite way to use this mask is mixed with the serum for an extra brightening effect. Even without the addition of the serum, this mask is moisturizing, exfoliating, and brightening. My skin is so smooth after use!
I am really happy with this mask! It does it all. I love to use in the AM to create the perfect canvas for makeup application.
I’m really enjoying AveSeena’s luxurious, safe skincare line! How do you like to treat your skin? ↓
