Lorac released 10 shades of a new blush formula, Color Source Buildable Blush. They retail for $22 for 0.14 oz. For reference, Urban Decay blushes are $26 for 0.23 oz, so there is not a ton of product for the money. I picked up the “matte rose” shade called Aura.
The circular compact came in a cardboard box with a cutout showing the blush. The compact is a sleek, lightweight plastic with a magnetic closure.

The color is true to the description, definitely being a true matte and perfectly rosy. It applies very easily, though it’s quite pigmented, so it’s not really buildable unless you want intense blush.
When I dip my brush into the product, there is a bit of powder kickup. Still, the blush is really beautiful and blends easily, plus lasts about 7 hours on me.
Overall, I enjoy this blush formula. It’s nothing special though, so I won’t purchase another shade unless it’s like nothing I have, or they go on sale.
Available at Ulta for $22.
