I absolutely don’t need more lipsticks, but Charlotte Tilbury’s launch of her Hot Lips lipsticks sucked me in. The Hot Lips collection contains 16 lipsticks inspired by Charlotte’s celebrity muses. Twelve of the shades are brand new, while 4 of the shades come from the existing line.
I picked up two shades from Beautylish: Secret Salma and Hel’s Bells. Secret Salma is a “deep rose plum” Matte Revolution lipstick inspired by the beautiful Salma Hayek. Hel’s Bells is inspired by Helena Bonham Carter, and is a “rich magenta mulberry” Matte Revolution lipstick.
The rose gold packaging is the same as Charlotte’s other lipsticks, except the bullet is interestingly shaped and has a kiss imprint.
I had not previously tried Charlotte’s matte formula. I was pleasantly surprised to find both lipsticks are smooth and pigmented in one swipe.

The matte formula is quite lovely. They were both comfortable to wear and lasted well (~5 hours, through constant my snacking).
The lipsticks retail for $32 for 0.12 oz. During the first two months of sales, $2 of each lipstick sale will go to Women for Women International.
I feel compelled to pick up some other shades of the Hot Lips collection. Not only do I enjoy the formula, I love that a portion of the sale will go to women in need.
