This time of year, my favorite lip color to wear is a pretty light pink – something delicate and soft. I also like to reach for a few pops of color now that flowers are blooming and there are vibrant colors all around. I’ve put together a little spring lip wardrobe of shades I want to grab this spring. At the end of this post, I have a short video try-on of all of the mentioned lippies that I hope you’ll enjoy 🙂
The Bobbi Brown Creamy Lip Color in Rose Petal is a rosy my-lips-but-better shade that works all year round. I added it to my lineup because I want to make sure I use it more. I’ve been into minimal makeup lately, and this shade adds a beautiful, subtle color to my lips without washing out the rest of my face.
I’ve heard several raves (from Kellilash) of the Clarins Instant Light Lip Perfectors. I realized I had a deluxe sample of Rose Shimmer that I needed to try. This feels nourishing on my lips while adding just a hint of color. Perfect for one of my frequent little/no-makeup days.
Oh, how I love a super glossy lip! The Dior Addict Ultra-Gloss formula is my absolute favorite. Diorosphere is an amazingly shiny light berry. I’ve previously reviewed the Dior Ultra-Glosses here on the blog.
The Jouer Lip Crèmes live up to the hype and have become one of my favorite liquid lipstick formulas. Dulce de Leche is a dusty nude pink that doesn’t look so basic. I’ve reviewed three of the Jouer liquid lipsticks here.
My other favorite liquid lipstick formula is Kat Von D’s. She has an amazing shade range! Mother is a warm dark pink that will be my go-to this season.
MAC Creme Cup wasn’t a favorite at first, but it’s growing on me. It’s another subtle light pink with a bit of shine, but it looks sooo pretty paired with a darker smoky eye. I originally posted about Creme Cup in my super crazy MAC haul last year.
Back to a pop of color, I want to use Tom Ford Violet Fatale this spring. It’s more of a bright pink with some violet undertones, and it’s very fun to wear.
You can see my try-on of these shades below. I’d also love if you subscribed to my YouTube channel!
