Bite Amuse Bouche Liquified Lip ReviewBite Beauty is known for their amazing lipsticks. The Amuse Bouche formula was a game-changer, in my opinion. Finally, they’ve gotten into the liquid lip game, and of course they nailed that too.

Amuse Bouche Liquified Lip

What it is: An innovative, liquified lipstick that takes liquid lip looks to the next level, with indulgently creamy wear, precise application, and high-pigment color with a satiny finish.

There are 2 main approaches to liquid lipsticks, each with their own pros and cons. The traditional liquid lipstick is long-wearing and transfer-proof, but at the cost of being a bit (or a lot) drying on lips. Other brands put comfort first by not having the lipstick dry all the way down. This means transfer is an issue, and the lipstick will not be as long-lasting. Bite’s take is the latter.Bite Amuse Bouche Liquified Lip Review

Shades +Swatches

I received 3 shades from Influenster: Demi Glace, Éclair, and Flambé. Later, I picked up Chutney from a friend who was decluttering.

Chutney – rich mauve

Demi Glace – chocolate mauve

Éclair – soft rose

Flambé – vivid poppy

Bite Amuse Bouche Liquified Lip Swatches L-R: Chutney, Demi-Glace, Éclair, Flambé

Chutney, Éclair, and Demi Glace are colors I would reach for on a daily basis. Flambé isn’t great on me since it’s a more orange-red, but it would be beautiful for a night out. Chutney is definitely my favorite – my kind of color!

Formula

Bite opted for comfort in their approach to these liquid lipsticks, which is my personal preference. I’d say Bite’s take is similar to the NARS Velvet Lip Glides, but a bit thicker and even more comfortable.

Application is smooth, creamy, and opaque in one swipe – no need to dip back in for more product. The finish is glossy at first, but settles into a satin finish.

Though the color does transfer a bit, a slight stain is left on my lips for several hours. Flambé feathers a little bit on me, but I won’t reach for that shade much anyway.

There is a scent to the Bite liquid lips. It’s kind of citrusy and minty at the same time. I quite like it! It’s fresh but subtle.Bite Amuse Bouche Liquified Lip Review

I’m really loving the Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Liquified Lips! I want to pick up a few more shades – perhaps Cava and/or Whip.
