I spotted the NARS Wanted Velvet Lip Glide Set on Ulta’s site and immediately picked it up. The set is apparently a limited edition Ulta exclusive. I love the Velvet Lip Glide formula and was excited to see a kit full of nude shades!
Today I’m sharing my review and swatches of the Velvet Lip Glide Set!
Wanted
What it is: Lips bare all with a limited edition lineup of six nude mini Velvet Lip Glides: Designed to glide like a gloss with the coverage of a lipstick, each satin shade smooths lips with lasting color that stays supple, never sticky. Featuring Oil Infusion Complex, a high-performance concentration of precious oils fused to deliver saturated pigment with extraordinary comfort.
The set retails for $45 with 0.72 oz of product in total. Compared to the product amount in the full-size Velvet Lip Glides, this is definitely a deal.
Shades + Swatches
The 6 shades are all nude shades – my favorite!
District – peachy pink nude
Swing – natural rose
Lure – terracotta nude
Roseland – blush rose
Spike – mauve berry
Vault – deep nude
Swing and Roseland are new shades that appear to be available as part of the permanent line, while the other 4 seem to be exclusive to the set.

I absolutely love every single shade! There are warm, cool, and neutral shades, but they all work for me.
Formula + Thoughts
The NARS Velvet Lip Glide formula is a really interesting hybrid of a lipstick and a gloss. The doe-foot applicator smoothly deposits color onto lips like a gloss, but with nice pigment in a satin finish.
These are incredibly comfortable to wear. They’re smooth, not sticky, and feel hydrating. These aren’t a matte liquid lip, so they don’t last forever. However, each color wears away to a beautiful stain through the day.
I’m so glad I bought this set! Each shade is perfect and I love the Velvet Lip Glide formula.
This set is limited edition, available at Ulta for $45
