Instytutum Result-Driven Skincare is a luxury skincare brand with products that focus on real results for flawless skin. I’ve been very impressed with their products in the past, but they’ve recently updated their formulas and introduced a few new skincare items.
I’ve partnered with Instytutum to share my thoughts on a few of their new skincare launches: the Transforming Melting Cleanser*, Resurfacing Glow Toner*, and Truly-Transforming Brightening Eye Cream*.
I love cleansing balms and oils, so I was excited to try this cleanser. This would basically be the best of both worlds, plus come in an easy-to-use tube. Yes please!
This melting cleanser is about as thick as it could possibly be while still being reasonable to package in a tube. The rich, balmy texture feels so luxurious and hydrating when I put it on my skin.
After applying to dry skin and massaging it in, adding a bit of water creates a milky sort of emulsion that dissolves makeup. I’ve found that a little bit goes a long way; a thin layer of the balm is all you need because the water makes it go further.
It’s gentle on skin, even around eyes. This is incredibly effective to remove makeup, but is not stripping to skin at all. Actually, it’s quite hydrating! I still like to follow with a second cleanser to make sure I have really removed everything, but I’ve gotten away with skipping a second cleanse on a lazy night.
Bottom line: The Transforming Melting Cleanser is truly unique! The tube packaging is user-friendly and the product is a fantastic makeup remover that keeps skin soft and hydrated. I will especially love this in the winter when my dry skin craves all the hydration it can get.
*perks up* Did someone say glow? 😊
The Resurfacing Glow Toner is not your traditional exfoliating toner. It’s a bit thicker, so it can be used on a cotton pad or just applied directly with hands. The formula contains 6% glycolic acid and 2% niacinamide at a pH of 3.5 for optimal effectiveness.
I prefer to let acids sit on my skin for awhile to sink in, but generally doing this can dry me out. Here, the thickness makes my skin feel much more comfortable and protected than other acids (hyaluronic acid helps too) as the glycolic acid works its magic. It’s not sticky and other products layer on top easily.
I’ve been using this toner nightly for the past two weeks with no issues. It’s still a little bit early to make a truly complete statement about results, but I have seen an improvement in my overall skin tone and feel my skin is brighter.
Bottom line: I am impressed by the Resurfacing Glow Toner so far! It is gentle on my skin, but effective to soften and brighten my skin.
When I first tried Instytutum’s skincare, their eye cream was a huge hit for me. In fact, I’ve just about finished my jar of it! So, I knew I had to try the updated version.
My favorite part about their previous formula was the texture: it is rich and hydrating, but not too thick and absorbs into skin just the right amount. Somehow, the texture of the new formula is even better. It’s a tad lighter and feels more refreshing (almost cooling?), but still packs the same level of hydration.
I can see an instant boost of brightness around my eye area after using this cream, which is a huge plus. In terms of anti-aging, two weeks of use isn’t enough time to make a real conclusion. However, with my consistent use of the previous formula, I have noticed that my upper eye hood has actually lifted a bit.
The previous formulation came with a spatula, but this one does not. It’s not a huge issue since I have other spatulas around, but I do wish this had one.
Bottom line: The Truly-Transforming Brightening Eye Cream is truly amazing, addressing every major eye concern.
Instytutum really stepped up their already pretty darn good game. This is a brand that deserves more recognition because their products really work. “Result-driven skincare” is really spot-on.
There are no misses for me here, with all of these products fitting perfectly into my skincare routine. If I had to choose just one product, I would go with the eye cream. It seems pricy, but a little goes a long way. I have seen real results with the previous formula, and this new formula is even better!
