The Dior Addict Lip Maximizer is a cult-classic plumping lip gloss. Dior launched a whole slew of new shades of the Lip Maximizer and you know darn well I bought them all.
What it is: A signature lip gloss from the house of Dior, which provides lip care for absolute comfort, shine, and a volume-maximizing effect.
The gloss comes in a glass, squared tube with a mirrored twist-off applicator wand. The classic doe-foot wand offers precision and easy application.
Shades + Swatches
There are 8 shades now available with two different finishes.
Pink (001) – light pink

Raspberry (007) – raspberry
Holo Purple (009) – light purple with shimmer
Holo Pink (010) – coral pink with shimmer

It wasn’t easy to capture the shine and dimension in these glosses! All of the shades have a high level of shine, while Holo Purple and Holo Pink have fine shimmer in them as well. Swatches below.
Formula + Thoughts
As with most plumping lip glosses, you an expect a little bit of a tingle with these. I don’t notice any irritation or burning, but I can feel the gloss after I apply it. It’s a tad cool and I can smell some mintiness.
The gloss itself is smooth and easy to apply, not sticky or goopy. I can press my lips together with no issue. The hyaluronic acid in the formula boosts moisture, so they’re very comfortable to wear. Transfer is going to be an issue with any gloss, but without eating/drinking, these last for a few hours.
These glosses are so beautiful. I have thin lips and these enhance my lip shape. I keep a shade or two in my bag at all times because they’re so easy to throw on and look good. My go-to shades are Rosewood, Beige, and Pink (the neutrals, of course). The other shades are great as well, though I think the extra-shimmery Holo shades are a bit much for me usually. I wouldn’t say they are glittery, but the shimmer is there.
I should mention that these pair with the recently-released Dior Addict Lip Glows To The Max, which I reviewed last month. They pair very well together, amplifying both the pigment and shine. I’m personally not so into layering at the moment because I prefer a one-swipe lip look, but I’ve done it a few times (mainly my favorite from each, Rosewood) and loved it.
At $34 for 0.2 oz, the Dior Addict Lip Maximizers are pricy. However, there’s really nothing bad I can say about them. They are so pretty on lips, but not at the cost of any discomfort. To me, these are worth every penny.
